Shea R. Smith
Supervising Criminal Attorney, Criminal Defense Department
Shea Randall Smith has dedicated himself to criminal defense since beginning his legal career in 2005. Raised in Houston and Baton Rouge, Shea earned his degree in Social Studies Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette before graduating from Southern University Law Center, where he served as President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
After law school, Shea gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, focusing on criminal justice issues. Now, as the Supervising Criminal Attorney at Rozas & Associates, he is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and is admitted to all federal district courts in Louisiana.
Shea is passionate about advocating for justice in a system that often fails the vulnerable. His favorite aspect of his role is presenting compelling arguments to a jury, knowing that his work could secure freedom for those wrongfully accused. For Shea, the most rewarding moments come when he’s able to win justice for clients and help them regain their lives.
